Where knowledge is preserved
The Library of Scrolls is one of Neshara’s great repositories of accumulated knowledge. Scrolls, manuscripts, histories, discoveries, teachings, encoded records, and bodies of wisdom are preserved so one generation does not have to rediscover everything learned by the generation before it.
Researchers and scribes may spend extraordinary periods within its halls. Some materials are readily accessible. Others require authorization because knowledge carries responsibility.
The Library should not be confused with the Remembrancer’s Chamber. The Library preserves knowledge; the Chamber preserves memory. One answers, What has been known? The other asks, What must never be forgotten?
“What is preserved can instruct generations.”
